Suranya (Organ) Poonyaphitak enhanced her expertise by participating in the Asian Producers’ Platform (APP) Camp 2023, held in Bangkok and Chiang Mai from 1-9 April 2023.

Asian Producers’ Platform, is designed as a peer-to-peer network, has been strengthening connections among Asian producers since its initiation by a dedicated group of independent producers in 2014. The APP Camp, organized annually since 2014 across various Asian cities, serves as a pivotal gathering, bringing together over 100 emerging and established performing arts producers.

As a participant in the APP Camp 2023, Suranya said she has gained profound insights into the local arts and cultural scenes, cultural policies, and the social and political landscapes influencing artists’ practices.

The camp provided a common platform for producers to meet, exchange ideas, and learn from their counterparts across Asia, fostering the development of industry networks. Suranya’s attendance at the APP Camp 2023 exemplifies her commitment to expanding her knowledge, building connections, and contributing to the vibrant network of Asian producers.
